Custom Designed Equipment
As with all companies, there is a measure of processes which require custom designed items to fit particular needs. This means that, when creating a piece of equipment several things must be addressed. The need for the equipment to support the process without issues, have a practical life expectancy and when necessary, be as easy to repair as you can design it. I had worked at a chemical facility for 23 years in maintenance. I saw all types of equipment come in which had to be modified to fit the process both chemically and mechanically. I often had suppliers ask about the modifications we made because the equipment ran better than expected. A free lunch was typically involved. Below are several examples of custom designs we built. Most are complete builds and some are remanufactured equipment or retrofits. |
